Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s proposed film Sir Osthara has been rechristened Sir Vachharu.
Initially, Trisha and Amala Paul was considered for the female lead, but both of then walked out of the project citing date issues. Latest reports suggest that the makers have finalised Kajal Aggarwal as the heroine.
Sir Vachharu will be directed by Parasuram and produced by Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanti Movies. More details will be announced shortly and the film is expected to release during Pongal, 2013.
